Senior Specialist: Security Pre Sales

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:

• Lead the development of complex architectural solutions for deals from pre-sales to proposal and delivery, stitching together appropriate assets and contributing to commercial modelling.
• A deep technical expert in Solution Architecture who works with the Solution Sales leads in the translation of eTOM/ TOGAF frameworks, Blueprints and Converged Solution Architecture/assets into pre-sales and sales marketing collateral for the Business Line area.
• Work closely with the Solution sales to develop effective pre-sales and sales collateral that articulates both the underpinning architecture as well as the business benefits of proposed Business Line solutions.
• Directly drive technical solution and architecture for pre-sales/RFPs within the Business Line.
• Provide direct support on pilot, initial and priority implementations, conducting reviews post implementation to update architecture and solutions to standardise solutions that can be replicated and industrialised.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Prepare Technical Solution Design Documents, Project Plan for new feature enhancement based on requirements
• Work with Architecture & project teams for finalizing the solution deployment design
• Validation & finalization of Bill of Material/Bill of Quantity against the deliverables
• Documenting High-light key risks/issues, mitigation steps, High-light dependencies on team
• Work with Program Manager for timely updates/tracking of deliverables
• Ensure that project implementation is completed in defined timelines
• Coordinate with other resources assigned to project effectively
• If any delays, prepare gap-analysis and raise alarms in project review meetings – internal/external

Knowledge Of:

CISCO ISE:

• Advance knowledge and understanding about security solutions being used in IT industry.
• Implementation of various concepts such as 802.1x authentication for Both RADIUS and TACACs, 802.1q VLAN tagging, Security Group Tagging, Downloadable Access-lists (i.e., DACL), Wireless access-lists (i.e., WACL, DACLs, RACLs), etc.
• Experience in large scale deployments of Cisco network access control solution.
• Deep knowledge and working/hands-on experience in designing, implementing and managing Cisco network access control solution i.e., Cisco ISE for wired as well as wireless environment.
• Possess thorough understanding about various components Cisco ISE, interoperability and compatibility of Cisco ISE Solution with third party vendor devices – switches/routers.
• Experience in integrating Cisco ISE solutions with Microsoft Active Directory/LDAP for external user authentication, guest and BYOD user provisioning.
• Experience in integrating Cisco ISE solutions with PKI solution for user/device authentication.
• Served as a primary technical contact for various customer’s requirements & transform in to a technical solution.

Infrastructure Technologies:

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of LAN, WAN, and telecommunication equipment, understanding of all OSI layers from application to physical, knowledge of RIP, OSPF,BGP and MPLS
• Professional level of familiarity implementing and troubleshooting Cisco 3750, 4500,7600 and cisco ios xr asr 9000
• Expert understanding of BGP (confederations, communities,) as well as real world implementation and troubleshooting experience
• Manage, configure, troubleshoot and monitor BGP Peering and cross connect management
• Manage and implement VLANs, IP allocation & QoS configuration.
• Manage, configure, troubleshoot and monitor of MPLS VPN Solutions.
• Knowledge of CPE QoS technologies including traffic prioritization and traffic shaping
• Understanding of the lower-level workings of VPN technologies including IPSEC and MPLS VPNs
• Other: FortiGate, Checkpoint, Project base (SDA, SDWAN, ACI).

Education, Skills and Experience:

Education:

• Minimum3-year Degree / bachelor’s degree in Business/ Commerce, Marketing, Sales or a related field
• Relevant OEM Security Certification
• Azure, AWS or Google etc.
• Fortinet, Palo Alto, Symantec etc.

Experience:

At least 5 years related experience in technology transformation, inclusive of;

• 3-5 years’ experience specifically delivering architecture solutions.
• Knowledge of B2B and ICT Technology architecture and technology innovations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large technology programmes across the lifecycle.
• Experience working in a medium to large organisation.
• Ability to deliver multiple solutions
• Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous.
